Well the big news this past week has been the release ofFormer CHP Officer Lyndon Lafferty of Vallejo  new book, “The Zodiac Killer Cover-Up: AKA the Silenced Badge,”
Big problem with his suspect William Joesph Grant  from Fairfield  who was93  and is now deceased . He was cleared years ago that includes with DNA.
By Lyndon lafferty making these false claims he should be charged with obstruction of justice. Â We have it on good authority that Mr. Lafferty is impossible to talk to and is prideful and stubborn.
He pays off the women he uses as witness’s and falseley accuses those who go against his theories.
It is almost to the point of being obsessive .  Hmmm maybe a bit of a mental illness manifesting?It also destroys and puts up false flags that detour away from the real killers.
This though seems to be very typical with the Zodiac murders. It becomes about pride instead of helping the real victims in this…. the families of the murdered victims.
And if any of you are stupid enough to pay $45 dollars for his book than you deserve it. Just another Zodiac superstar wanna be in an endless stream of people seeking fame at these poor families expense.

He knows that William J. Grant was excluded as a suspect by both fingerprint and handwriting samples over 42 years ago. The only reason that people are reading his book is because he’s an ex-cop.
If he gets caught lying to promote his book, isn’t he guilty of Obstruction of Justice? If so, will the the cops prosecute him for it, or will he get a walk because he was a former cop?
Lafferty needs to be charged with obstruction of justice. I am sick of all these people who need to have names for themselves. This case has suffered enough from all these Zodiac superstar wannabes. Time to reveal the true evidence and allow new ideas to be in the mix instead of old ones. Thank you for posting

Hi Steve thank you for the information…it doesn’t surprise us at all. Lafferty is more concerned with selling books than being honest and forthright.
There is an element with all of this with Drugs and the Vallejo police were involved at the time with drug dealing.Darlene Ferrin was married, she continued to date and associate with Police officers and members of the drug community. She sold drugs herself – not on a massive basis, though. On or about April 1969 – a few months before her death – a man, who fits the description of Lawrence Kane and Paul Petri, as well as Bruce Davis, commenced to hang around her house. She told her sister that the man must have returned from out-of-state and that she saw him kill someone. After Darlene’s murder, Kane disappeared. Davis lived in Vallejo and immediately went south to live with the Manson Family. Petri was under investigation for Darlene’s murder.
Petri would have been a fellow Police officer….interesting how they cover that up.
Why has there never been an investigation publicly of the police involvement in Vallejo with drug running? is it because there is a CIA connection with drugs as well as a gang element? aka Hells Angels involvement?
Is this really about drugs and how the public has been duped for years that the judicial Law enforcement really works….I mean who is more important here the victims or the profit of the drug trade? I would say that it is money that rules this case and too many are seeking to profit off the misery of the victims.
